AIM Study on Biological Age using Face Photos picked up by Fox News

Fox News published an article titled “AI tool scans faces to predict biological age and cancer survival” citing our study.

The report highlighted key findings from our study in The Lancet Digital Health, including that cancer patients appeared about five years biologically older and that our tool was more accurate than clinicians in predicting life expectancy for a group of palliative care patients. Crucially, the article also captured our goal for this technology to augment—not override—a doctor's judgment, and it correctly stated our position that more research is needed before the tool could be used in a clinical setting
