Ibrahim Hadžić, MSc is a Research Scholar at AIM working on the applications of deep learning in medical imaging. He is currently enrolled in a PhD program at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Previously, he was a Research Assistant at Maastro Clinic, the Netherlands, with a focus on medical image translation, specifically, for enabling adaptive radiotherapy through synthesis of CT scans from CBCT scans. He is particularly interested in open-source and reproducible research of AI in medicine and believes it to be fundamental for the advancement of the field, as the growing complexity of the methods and the frequent inability to share the data impede the very much needed transparency in the field.

Ibrahim graduated with a MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and, prior to it, with a BSc degree in Informatics at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
