Fridolin Haugg

Research Scholar

 

Frido is a research scholar in our Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) program, working on deep learning for medical applications. He completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.

As part of his studies, he wrote his master’s thesis at the Biomedical and Mobile Health Lab at ETH Zurich, focusing on the estimation of heart rate from a selfie video. Before joining our research group, he worked as a researcher at TU Delft's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering in the Netherlands, and at the Fraunhofer System Technologies and Image Exploitation group in Karlsruhe, Germany. When he is not building machine learning models, Frido enjoys playing soccer.
