Juan Carlos Climent Pardo

Juan Carlos Climent Pardo is a Master’s candidate at AIM with a background in Robotics and AI from the Technical University of Munich. He has extensively applied machine learning and artificial intelligence in various medical projects, including rib fracture classification and segmentation, early detection of lung a breast cancer using diffusion-based deep learning, as well as inpainting and registration of iOCT.

He has worked in multiple companies and has expertise in different fields, including autonomous logistical robotics at Motius GmbH, the development of autonomous race cars at KA.RaceIng e.V., (where he led the team to a world's second place in the FSAE competition), and medical applications at the hospital Munich Rechts der Isar in Munich and Ryver.AI.

Juan Carlos' current research interests lie in the application of deep learning to healthcare problems, in order to improve patient outcomes and provide better and personalized treatment plans. By leveraging the intersection computer vision and AI he is focused on predicting volumetric tumor development.
