Osbert Zalay
Research Fellow
Personal description: Osbert Zalay is a research fellow affiliated with the AIM lab, and is a resident physician in radiation oncology at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering science and a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto, with his doctoral research involving mathematical modeling and complexity analysis of biological and artificial neural networks, with application to understanding and treating epilepsy. His current research focuses on using machine vision for novel biomarker discovery in oncology patient populations.
