Zezhong Ye PhD is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Program at Mass General Brigham and Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ye received his B.Sc. degree in chemistry from Xiamen University, and then M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in physical chemistry from Washington University. Before joining AIM, Dr. Ye worked as Research Assistant and later Postdoctoral Research Associate at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and Siteman Cancer Center at Washington University School of Medicine, where he developed advanced diffusion MRI techniques along with machine learning to noninvasively detect and characterize cancers including glioblastoma, prostate cancer and breast cancer. He has received multiple awards including ISMRM Summa Cum Laude Merit Award, ANA Poster Awards, RSNA Travel Award for Young Investigators as well as JMRI Distinguished Reviewer Award. He has presented his work at a series of national and international scientific conferences including ISMRM, RSNA, AANP, ANA and CCR annual meetings.

Dr. Ye's current research focuses on the development and application of AI on medical imaging for cancer outcome predictions. He is especially interested in developing deep neural networks and radiomics to predict molecular and genetic alterations in pediatric glioma to provide critical information on responses to specific therapies. His long term goal is to build the end-to-end AI platforms for personalized cancer care that can be implemented in clinical settings for assisting clinicians in routine practices.
