Márton Kolossváry received his medical diploma from Semmelweis University in 2016. Between 2016-2020 he finished his PhD at the University entitled: "Characterization of coronary atherosclerosis on computed tomography using advanced image processing techniques". During his studies he also finished a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University regarding the modifying effects of HIV-infection on coronary artery disease. His main research interests are in the precision phenotyping of diseases using radiological images. Using radiomics and deep learning he aims to provide a better understanding of the possible modifying effects of different risk factors on disease. Using this information, a better prognostication may be achieved, while providing a better understanding of the underlying pathological processes responsible for adverse clinical outcomes.
